We all love a familiar face. That’s why clients are much more likely to book with you if they can see details about each of your team members (such as their name, bio and portfolio of work) on your Treatwell profile. We know it adds a personal touch to their customer experience and helps boost online bookings. Plus, it’s quick and easy to do.
Adding a photo of yourself:
Your profile photo ensures you’re recognisable to returning clients – plus, our data shows that team members with complete profiles receive more first-time customers, too.
- Head to the Connect app on your phone
- In the calendar view, you’ll see an icon representing each team member (if they don’t have a photo yet, this will be their initials)
- Tap on the team member who is creating their profile
- Tap the pencil icon next to their name
- On the next screen, tap the camera icon
- You can now take a new photo, or add one from your device’s photo gallery
- You’ll have the opportunity to crop your image if it’s too large
- Tap the tick button in the top right corner when you’re happy
Adding a bio about yourself:
The bio in your profile is a great place to let your customers know about your work experience, qualifications, and give them a small introduction to you as a person. Remember to use proper grammar and keep things professional.
- Follow the above instructions to access your team member profile
- Next to your name, tap the pencil
- On the next screen, you’ll see the space for your personal bio
- Tap there and type away
How to add photos to your portfolio:
We know you’re great at what you do – why not show it off for the world (and your potential clients) to see? The images in your portfolio will display in the ‘Meet the team’ section of your marketplace listing, as well as in the Treatwell LookBook, as long as you follow the below instructions.
- Head to the Connect app on your phone
- Choose a few photos of your work that you think best showcase your skills and talent – and add them to your portfolio (you can add as many as you like)
- Make sure your clients are happy for you to use their photos. Ideally, get them to confirm in a text message or via email (a simple ‘Yep, happy for you to use it!’ is enough).
- Make sure that your photos are at least 1920 x 1280 pixels, and your files between 1 MB and 4.5 MB
- Follow the steps shown on screen and tag your photos with more information about the service (e.g., service name, hair length, colour, and finish style)
- Tap the checkmark in the top right corner to save
After a few moments, your photos will appear on your Treatwell profile! Just remember, we’ll have to remove any inappropriate images or images containing contact information or marketing.
