Great news – we’ve introduced a new feature that allows your direct appointments to be managed online, too. Now all your clients can manage their appointments* quickly, easily, and at a time that suits them – whether they booked you via Treatwell or by getting in touch directly.
Why is this feature good for you and for your clients?
Online appointment management makes things a lot easier. We know that clients prefer making changes to their appointments out of hours (in fact, our data shows it’s 35% of those who want to make a change). That’s why the new feature helps you create an even better booking experience.
On top of that, clients won’t need to ring up and interrupt your workflow to reschedule anymore, saving you and your team valuable time. All in all, the new feature will reduce late appointment changes, no-shows, and admin for your team.
How does it work?
The client experience will be exactly the same as managing an online booking from a confirmation email.
- You’ll create a new appointment in Connect
- They’ll receive an appointment confirmation email immediately, with information about your reschedule and cancellation policies, as well as links to reschedule or cancel
- If rescheduling, clients can choose a new date and time slot based on your real-time calendar availability in Connect
- Once they’ve made the changes, your calendar in Connect will be updated instantly, with a notification sent to you and your client
How can you benefit from this feature?
Make sure you always include the client’s contact details when adding a new appointment in Connect. That’s when they’ll receive the confirmation email, through which they can make changes to their appointment if their plans change.
*Packages and multi appointments are not yet supported – but we’re working on that.
