As a business you have the obligation to be able to hand over a receipt to customers. Treatwell POS lets you create such receipts.
All receipts are created as PDF file, meaning any common printer which is correctly paired or connected with a computer or even tablet should be able to print.
If you have decided against the usual and recommended ‘Treatwell POS Setup’ it’s your sole obligation to ensure that ‘print receipt’ and - if required - ‘open cash drawer’ functions work properly. Treatwell rules out any guarantee for any hardware configuration that is not identical with the ‘Treatwell POS Setup’ explicitly and does not help with any other devices - neither while setting them up nor if they malfunction later. We also do not recommend any other device - because the mPOP & the iPad are already the best for our product and purpose.
This configuration - the Treatwell POS module itself (‘Software only’) - requires two things: A web-enabled device and a steady internet connection. Connect may work on ancient devices with unstable internet connection but there is no guarantee. You’re safe if you use a Windows computer (Windows 10, a Macintosh Computer (OS X 10.12 or higher), iPads (iOS 11) or Android tablets (Android 7.0 or higher) and a broadband connection.
If you use a Computer, you have to use the latest Google Chrome version to use Connect. It’s free without any user fees. On mobile devices (iOS & Android), you can use our ‘Treatwell Connect (for salon)’ app or the Google Chrome App - both available in ‘App Store’ and ‘Play Store’.
