Click ‘Menu’ and then choose ‘Products’ to open product management which allows you to create products and manage stock. In order to create a product, choose ‘add new’. If you want to edit an existing product just click on it. In both cases you are then able to set a product name and unit price (including VAT). If the standard VAT rate (UK: 20%) does not apply, set a custom VAT rate for the product. To manage stock, choose ‘manage inventory’ and define the ‘quantity in stock’. This enables the handy display of units in stock during checkout. Every time this particular product is sold via the Treatwell POS, the quantity will reduce by the number of units sold. By checking the product inventory regularly you will be able to compare actual and target stock.
