Keeping your calendar up to date is a must if you want things to run smoothly at your salon. When your calendar is up to date, your clients can only book you when you have availability and not during times that you have blocked out. This means you avoid double bookings – and create a better experience for your clients, from start to finish. And – updating your calendar couldn't be easier! Let's see how it's done.
To update your calendar:
- Head to your calendar and click on the date and time you wish to update.
- A pop up will appear. At the top, select whether you want to add a new appointment or simply block out the time. Blocking time ensures no Treatwell bookings can be made in those periods.
- If you’re adding an appointment, make sure to include the customer’s details, the treatment booked as well as the duration and price. Then click “save”.
- If you’re adding a block, make sure to include how long it will last, which team members it will apply to and whether you want any repeats. Then click “save”.
If your team work on different days or hours, head to the 'Rota' in the Team section. You can add days off and custom hours for each team member there to ensure everyone's availability is kept to up date. Read more about that, here.
