Setting up an iCal synchronisation links your own calendar or management system to Connect. This means you can update your availability and block out times without having to jump back and forth between two systems.
To link your existing calendar to Connect:
- Go to Settings on Connect and click on ‘Team’ on the left-hand side.
- Click on your team page. You should be fully set up with owner access. This is to ensure that only the owner/manager has control.
- Click on 'Link to external calendar'. A pop up should appear.
- Paste your calendar’s iCal address into the box and click “link calendar”. You can find your iCal address within the settings of your calendar.
Once they have been linked, any times blocked out on your existing calendar will periodically be mirrored in Connect, minimising the risk of bookings coming through during your busy times.
