From time to time, you may need to make changes to your menu. Don't worry – making changes to your menu is quick and easy in Connect. From updating your prices to editing service duration, changes can be made in a few clicks, so that you can get back to your busy day in no time.

To edit a service:
- Go to 'Menu' in Connect.
- Choose the service you want to edit, and click on it to open the item details.
- You'll see the 'Team' section, duration, price and sale price of the service. From there, you can make various changes.
- Click 'Save' once you're happy.
Changing the price
Simply click on the price and type in what you'd like to change it to.
If you want to boost your business further, you can also choose to include a sales price to help you attract more customers, or highlight specific services. The option to add a ‘Sales price’ is right next to ‘Price’ on the service.
Changing the duration
Click on the drop-down arrow and select the length of time that the service takes.
Adding and changing processing times
For some service types, like hair colouring, you can add processing time so that you are free for other clients while the treatment is taking effect. Tick the box to the left of 'Use processing time' to turn this feature on.
The duration will then split into 'Application time', 'Processing time' and 'Finishing time'. Select the length of time you need for each section by clicking on the drop-down arrows.
Note that the 'Processing time' you choose will automatically apply to all pricing levels.
Changing cleanup time
Want to block out some time after each appointment to clean up?
- Go to 'Menu' in Connect
- Choose the service you want to edit, and click on it to open the item details
- Underneath 'Add pricing option' you can select the cleanup time you need by clicking on the drop-down arrow.
Changing assigned team members
In the 'Team' section, choose who can be booked for the service by ticking or unticking each team member.
Colour coding your treatments
To help get a better overview of which treatments you have scheduled for the day, it's also possible to colour code your services.
For example, you could set all massage services to appear in your calendar in purple, hair services in yellow etc.
This is individually in each service. You'll see a small white box next to the service title; click it, and select which colour you'd like that service to appear in on your calendar.
